Excited to share Lilly’s new black and blush pink girls room with you all!! I just finished getting her old room post up on the blog, 4 years later, insert eye roll emoji here. Lilly and I worked together on styling this teenage girls room, and we both LOVE the finished product. We went with black and white as the main colors, and added in pops of blush pink and gold. I created an awesome shopping guide at the bottom of this post to help you create a black and blush pink girls room of your own!
My husband and I are constantly telling our kids to PRAY OFTEN and DREAM BIG. It is so important to me that my kids learn to put God first through prayer, and to dream big and dream often. I love filling my kid’s rooms and our house with inspirational quotes and bible verses.
Teenager Study Space Is A MUST
Lilly is a planner and type A personality like her mom. I am not sure if it is a curse or a blessing?!?! It was love at first sight when we saw this massive dry erase calendar at Home Goods. I wanted it for my studio office space, but they only had one left…so I gave in and let Lilly keep it in her room. The gold border was perfect for her teenage girls room. The black polka dot lamp is also from Home Goods. Don’t forget to check out the full shopping guide at the bottom of this post.
I am in love with the french provincial furniture. All three of my girls have french provincial dressers in their rooms. You can find these on garage sale sites, Craigslist, Facebook marketplace, or antique stores. You will want to sand them down and refinish with the paint color of your choice; unless you get lucky enough to find the color you want for the price you want to spend.
Isn’t this dog bed the cutest thing you have ever seen?!?! It is linked in my shopping guide at the bottom of this post.
The super cute blush pink planter, black pom pom pillow, and all of the gallery wall items were purchased from Hobby Lobby. For the majority of the other teenage girls room furniture and decor items you can check out my shopping guide at the bottom of this post. For paint color we went with Sherwin Williams Alabaster for the walls, because that is the paint color our builder used for the trim. BUT I would recommend getting a color with less of a yellow tint. When we build a new house I will probably be using Sherwin Williams Pure White; which is what we used for the french provincial furniture.
YOU GOT THIS – What a great reminder for Lilly to see every morning as she heads out her door. I found this canvas print at Home Goods.
